Did you spot the Brighton West Pier backdrop near the end? Strange. 4 stars. Yes! Funny story - once, my partner and I were walking along the clifftop east of Brighton, when a Chinese tourist asked me to take a photo for them. Apparently, the particular shot they wanted was popularised in a popular Chinese film. It wouldn’t surprise me if the presence of the West Pier was because of something similar. |

I watched a bit of Die Hard then went off to do some Christmas wrapping. When I came back the pm had put Donnie Brasco on instead.
Well the truth is that the pm has now fallen asleep so I’ve put Die Hard on again.

Is it a Christmas film? No way. Aliens is more Christmassy. Dark, bad weather, monsters, conviviality.

This evening I was as usual pressured into drinking a glass of whisky by one of the outlaws. I have mentioned several times over the last 23 years that I do not drink the stuff. Neither does he, but he seems to think it must be what us lot do. Racial profiling.

Keele services at midnight is shit.
WHSmith was open, but nowhere else. You can't get a coffee in a cup. Let alone gin in a teacup.
Also we lost comfortably at Burnley. We were just about the second best team in the game. We were not competing for first place.
I got back to my parents at 1.10 am. Since then i have been drinking Marstons Old Empire aggressively.
