Update: PM’s gone back in for more bloods, they’re not happy, she’s more jaundiced, her liver levels have gone up and they think a stone is causing a blockage. They’re concerned enough to have moved her up the list to next Thursday to have the operation, but as it stands she can’t go on holiday as she is. There’s a high chance of pancreatitis with any of the options but an almost certainty of developing it if we wait. She’s got to have an MRI either today or tomorrow, and then they’ll be able to plan more. Hope it’s all ok scubar.

I'm 3 visits adrift - the 1pm, 2.30 and another floating one - I bet that they are all going to try to take place together ... At least I am not doing this!

Too much Capri Sun will be the cause of the yellowing.
Its better that it has happened in the UK rather than on holiday. At least you can rearrange the holiday for when you can enjoy it.

I once developed temporary orange flecking as a result of eating too many Wotsits. It went down after a few hours.
The Wotsits weren’t identified as the cause by any medical professional. But I had eaten a lot of Wotsits and I did become flecked with orange.

That sounds truly terrible Scoobs. I hope you and yours are all ok.
God only knows why they can't give you recycling boxes like the rest of us, instead of those silly bags.

lazybones. You should write an autobiography. "The Rites and Times of Dr L Bones", I'd buy that.

PM’s currently going for an MRI to get a better idea of the gallstone and how to resolve it, but looking like camera to dislodge gallstone, observation to make sure she’s not getting pancreatitis, then procedure to remove gallbladder, and recovery time.

Neighbour update: immediately subsequent to last night's mental display of pitch dark aerobics barefoot in a monsoon, the lady next door had a massive shouting row with her husband/boyfriend for about an hour, which resulted in him leaving the house and fucking off in his car. He's not been back yet. She's outside again now, not raining, just chain smoking sat out on the garden furniture (never seen her smoking before) - she's also still wearing the same clothes, still barefoot in the mud. It seems a bit less funny and a bit more worrying than it did last night. I'm waiting for PM to get back from the gym to send her over to the back fence and ask if she's OK, she's better with real life people than me (and she knows her name)

I feel for you both. PM had 2 scans Nov/Dec after escalating episodes of biliary colic towards the end of last year, all she's had so far from the hospital is prescriptions and sympathy. Hope you get a happy resolution ASAFP
