I have to go to London today for a training course. I mean I say I have to. I suppose I could decide not to, but I said I would go …
I also signed a form saying that there would be a money penalty if I didn’t go so maybe I’m being coerced? Coerced by the past.
I don’t know if I should … take my laptop. It’s quite heavy and might put undue stress on the strap of my satchel. Three of the keys don’t work either, so I would have to take my separate keyboard. But I might need to do some pre-course reading.
Why am I telling you this?
Urgh.

Busy day, unlikely to be in much. I'm even prepping notes! Speaking of which, lazybones - just wing it; especially if your laptop is not a company one. You're going to be in real trouble if it's damaged as you're working remotely. One of the reasons I think Star Trek was so ahead of its time. |

I think the bin men missed our grey bin this morning - despite it being out since last night. I saw someone in the next street taking theirs in and the lorry was in our cul-de-sac this morning. I hope I'm wrong as I really, really can't face a fight with the council about it.
I too am on a training course this morning. Lazy is yours about web accessibility? Are you going to make pointed comments about the team giving the training not using alt-txt on their Twitter feed? Just me then being a dick.

I took the laptop. I read the slides. I did one of the activities.
The course I’m on is called ‘Advanced Leaders’ or ‘Advancing Leaders’ or ‘Advancing Leadership’. Something like this. Connotations of the Third Reich.
I’ve just realised that the lunch will be at the venue. Ah man. My head will implode. I need to get out. I suppose I still could. I could go and buy food to furtively eat alone.
