Went to Starburger* for belated birthday lunch, had a mixed grill: quarter pounder, frankfurter, onion rings, bacon, fried egg and fries. 4* *basically an ex-Wimpy franchise. |

Good evening
I'm watching the boxing at Manchester' 02 arena. I'm not there, I'm watching on telly. The beer I am quaffing is not £8.45 per pint. Crazy London prices indeed.
This morning I went for a long walk off a short pier. Not really, a medium walk (4-5 miles) in the woods and local area.
The Kuwaiti family (a great much of lads) next door brought us round a veritable feast late afternoon. Kuwaiti/Arabic style rice and chicken (a bit like a biryani), another chicken curry style dish, some tremendous pastries (samosa like, shredded lamb with a sweet chilli kick), various pots of dips and yogurts and a salad of leaves, tomatoes, strawberries (I know right!) and walnuts.
Absolutely one of the best meals I've ever eaten. We will be bereft when they go home to Kuwait this summer for good, after 4 years of being the best neighbours anyone could wish for.
Probably get some thuggish lout Brits move in, scum.

A man is on TV. I’ve no idea if he’s younger or older than me. He looks older but then he has almost uniformly dark hair whereas mine is becoming grey at a terrifying pace.
Datmoor on telly too. No mention of Old Crockern …

Morning all! Sunday morning means swimming lessons. So you early.
Filmblog: watched the first hour of RRR last night. It’s nuts, total nuts, but I will recommend it to everyone and anyone.
Their vision of 1920’s British colonials does seem a little over the top, mind… there’s no way we’d have been able to hold onto that country for hundreds of years if we’d acting that way.
