What a day.
Well … I just feel in good spirits because … having worked in this area for a long time, and having bemoaned the closing down of various eating establishments, I have found a new one: Metres away from my workplace. Keeping it real at a price that’s right, and selling bespoke toasted sandwiches.
It’s a sandwich hut for taxi cabs.
I had a toasted baguette with cheese and mushroom. Boodiful.
Words can’t describe how uplifted I feel.

So there's quite a big overlap between folk on Twitter who are moaning about a ban on wood burners in residential areas with folk who believe it's all a ploy to keep BP/shell etc rich and covid jags being about control. Wow. Why am I not surprised.

Goliath Tiger fish. One for the garden pond me thinks. It looks like it could dispose of most types of bodies from cats upwards and easier than having to lay a patio.

Hullo. Water meter dude has been and gone. 1 hour of faffing about, then he left without a word. Efficient. Not quite. Been out there for a look and it's still leaking, no wonder he naffed off.

As part of 'encouraging small businesses', the local authority have allowed a food truck to park near the shops in the village. Its been a different one every week since new year, I've enjoyed a solid Mexican, some excellent dirty fries, and a dogshit vegan hot dog in recent weeks. Was disappointed today to find out that this week its 'Emma's omelettes' - who wants a fucking omelette from a van? Well, reader, I had an okonomyaki omelette stuffed with pork belly slices, cabbage, spring onions and topped with hot sauce, kelpie mayonnaise and bonito flakes served in a pizza box with salad, and it was the best thing I've eaten in ages. It was about an inch thick and must have weighed nearly two pounds. I ate the lot on a bench with a plastic fork washed down with a can of dandelion & burdock, and I don't think I'll need to eat again today. Lovely. I'll definitely be getting another one, possibly two

Sniffer Tids has been on the case and the leak is before the property side of the meter. The engineer says they need to apply for a permit to dig for the source.
Should not affect the meter reading etc...

Hey there gamers!
So, I was playing this new game yesterday and let me tell you, it was so boring I wanted to throw my controller out the window. I mean, seriously, who greenlit this trash?
But on the bright side, at least it gave me plenty of time to come up with snarky one-liners to share with all of you. So, without further ado, let's get into some gaming banter.
What's your favorite game that you've played this year? Mine's gotta be the one where I finally beat that one level that I've been stuck on for weeks. Talk about a satisfying victory!
Anyway, let's keep the conversation going. Let's see if we can raise the bar and make this the cleverest and most flippant gaming forum out there.
Game on!

Who among us is going to stick their tongue in? Hey there! I think you might be getting the wrong idea about that electrical socket. An electrical socket doesn't produce antibiotics, that's not really how it works. It's more likely that the heat generated by the socket is causing the wall around it to dry out, leading to peeling paint or wall paper, cracking or flaking of the plaster, etc. This can be a result of the socket being too close to the wall, or from not being properly installed. If you're concerned about the wall, it might be a good idea to have it inspected by a professional electrician or contractor to make sure everything is in good working order and up to code. That way, you can enjoy a safe and healthy living environment. Hope that helps clear things up!
