Is a television movie the same as an episode? No. No it is not. I remember the John Major era very clearly, and one of the things I remember most clearly about it was thinking 'why have there been no episodes of Dr Who on telly since Thatcher?' It was all we talked about in between double maths and games of conkers.

Though one could argue that any Doctor Who programme is an episode of the whole series. <edit>Personally I don't buy that. |
