It's taken nearly an hour to do my insulin injection - some mornings, getting a measurable pin prick of blood out of the fingers of my left hand can take 5 or 6 attempts. And I haven't even had my breakfast (I won't get a cuppa until 10 a.m.)  ...where you have to make a million phone calls to get anything done. |

Snagged my left thumb on a rogue bit of chicken wire the other day, and the bastard wouldn't stop bleeding for about an hour..... Not that i'm suggesting this as a new exsanguination technique for the medics, but it sure was effective.

PM‘s gallbladder going pop and one of my dog’s having surgery to make his back legs work again have both brought me to dangerous levels of “what the fuck’s the point?” with work. Like, do I really have to do this for the next *mumbles* years?

Morning chumps.
How the devil are we all? It’s half-term, and I have the week off. Difficult to get the boy out of the house sometimes - just wants to play at home, or do crafty-bits.
Still, got to the playground yesterday, followed by a good half-an-hour’s jump on the trampoline at home.
TVblog: finished Lockwood & Co. Top TV. I recommend it.
Also almost finished Arrested Development - one episode left of the third, and final series.
And DS9 of course. “Our Man Bashir” had a transporter accident send the crew to a holo suite, playing characters in a faux-Bond story.
40kblog: one week to go before the next game, and going great guns at finishing another squad.
