iPhone? I'd tell her she's got to earn one Tbf, she knows how to use iOS from iPads and the PM's phone. There are two older iPhones and she's getting the OG iPhone SE. It will be locked down to fuck so all the fun is taken out of it. Just had lunch and it was tremendous. I used to be very reserved at lunch at these things. Now I have no shame. Not quite filling my pockets with pakora. But not far off it. |

The removal men brought our stuff back. I bounced into the back of the van to help. I feel like I should have given them tips at the end, but I had no cash.
I’m haunted … by the handshake I was party to. The handshake I gave. One of the men went in and I met his hand at a bad angle, so was unable to apply full handshake force. Ah man. I gave him a terrible handshake. I feel lessened …
I did have a delicious lunch in a Japanese restaurant afterwards. That balances things out. But am now on the way to work so the see-saw swings back again ….

Batch cooking today: skinless tandoori chicken breasts, chopped tuna salad, a massive vat of roasted veg dhal. All healthy stuff as back on weightwatchers - I'm actualising the thin me within (again)

Probably old hat to some of you nerds, but I was just reading that Tom Bombadil was in the Peter Jackson films all along, but in his true form as Witch-king of the Nazgûl.
I've done my own research and it all checks out.
Wonder if he'll be in the new Warner Bros films.

After a fantastic roast lamb on Sunday, I still had a big chunk of the half-leg leftover. So cooked a rogan josh with it for dinner yesterday - boodiful.
Stuck the leg bone in with it, a very hearty meal.

I had a tradesman in the house today too - an electrician installing our new oven. I felt validated when he asked my help with some heavy lifting, but this quickly turned to alarm when he asked me to find instruction videos on YouTube for him.

How are people enjoying all the VR tentacle videos on their headsets?
Seems like they arrested the couple in Brighton just as the suspect we know is reporting they are moving their things back out. Coincidence? Completely.
The public are they're usual fun selves, it seems the YMCA have been threatening and aggressive to their occupants. And I thought they were so nice from the song.

I like a hug, but I like a handshake too, and I’m starting to think that hugs are best when preceded by a handshake - unless it’s a hug of departure.
