Afternoon all.
My son has come down with the covid. From Saturday at least, that’s when we tested him.
He hasn’t been too bad, just a bit snotty if anything. Though has obviously meant that he hasn’t been to school this week.
I took yesterday and today as holiday to look after him, and it’s been fine… until now. Now, I think he’s feeling a bit better, and he’s ruddy pushing it.
I think he needs a good run. Or an extended bounce session on the tramampoline.
Back to school on Friday for him.

Went to the Taco Bell™ near my work for the second time. For the second time they fucked up my order. I ordered two chicken soft tacos, spicy fries and a drink.
Went over. The lassie confirmed my order number and name. Hands me a bag. I go and sit down. Open the bag. There's a card saying free crunchy taco on it. Ok. Cool.
Opens the first packet - a crunchy beef taco. Ok I thinks, they've given me another one. Eats it. Opens next one. Soft taco. But it's a beef taco.
Looks at rest of order. Another beef soft taco and another beef crispy taco. Nae fries. Clowns.
No time left in my lunch break to go up and complain and get a chicken taco with added saliva.

Oh yeah - there was a strange dug up piece of earth on the outside edge of our back wall. Odd. Like someone had pulled up a brick to reveal the rich loam beneath. I’m assuming it was done by someone in ‘the drugs game’ for a place to discretely hide ‘the goods’ for pick-up. Not sure. Sounds like that would be a ludicrous thing to do. Yeah - I’ve no idea why it’s there. For a fraction of a second I speculated that it could be some way to tunnel into our garden. I’m not sure what though. A mini-army of crusader knights? An industrious urban mole? I believe unscrupulous sorts do this to place a curse on the occupants of the dwelling. They hide a crow’s leg, or a splayed-newt. Why are you saying this? Is it true? |

That is a strong line up.
The first concert I went to was Paul Simon with Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
I didn't pay for it. Pretty sweet.
He and they were excellent. I have been to many worse concerts since then.
