Mr Bones sir....have you thought of getting a wok shaped large pan. The base will fit the hob and the slopping sides will hold a large amount of cooking ingredients. Not an actual wok, just wok shaped and with a lid. Maybe we could get sponsorship from Good Housekeeping.

This was what I wanted. I deliberated and almost bought one, then I realised I would only be able to make one toasted cheese sandwich at a time in it. I bought a similar pan to the oversized one in the end - but with a smaller diameter and greater height. Today I have to take the other one back. The packaging was removed (folded up and placed in a recycling bin). It has since been retrieved and placed around the pan. I believe there is a 65 percent chance the package will be rejected β¦

Go on the attack lazybones
"I purchased this and don't want it. I didn't want to say anything at the time -or ask for money off - but the packaging was very shoddy. Like someone else had taken it home. Are you trying to pass off used goods as new? That's an offence under the trades description act. My PM told me to take it back"
Going for the attack, but then finishing off with a pleading incel like comment.
Your welcome.

We used to have a customer who was blind. An old guy. Retired business dude and ex judge (in England)
He was very belligerent and tbf rallied for equal opportunities for blind people.
Helped us when setting up a braille embosser and software for public pc's. I watched him using Excel once, screen off and a screenreader. I mean he said that's what he was doing. Anyway, to get back to the story.
As part of his fight for equality he signed up for a wallpapering course at the local college. Then he rocked up with his guide dug to be told he couldn't do the course. He then kicked up a fuss.
I wonder if Amipals papering is better than his?

I like the latest Picard.
Pan chat: we have a basic blue flame set of gas rings. You put something on them, they heat it up. A simpler Britain.

I've seen people with a learning disability take back items for a replacement that have obviously been used abused and broken but got them replaced. In their minds it's not working so needs replacing. There's no conflicting emotions like being self conscious of the fact that there's no way it should get replaced. Just blatant exspectence of getting it replaced. Can you do a good impersonation of being learning disabled?

I got a frying pan made out of stone for Christmas. Stone! What a time to be alive.

Or just say that a shop assistant told you it would work with your hob, which it doesn't, so it's not fit for the purpose sold. Which is basically true.
Whatever you do, don't take advice from the 'box.

I wonder if Amipals papering is better than his? I doubt it. Saying that, I looked at it this morning, and it is wonderfully flat. No bubbles or wrinkles in it to speak of.

It's bloody unpleasant out and as usual, when there's foul weather, Arsebury goes into gridlock. My carers (with only one exception Romanian) laugh themselves stupid about how folks here haven't a clue how to deal with bad weather... treatment day today...

I have a pizza-stone, which is not made of stone, but some porous ceramic. This is now causing me existential angst, as well as really wanting a pizza.

Whatever you do, don't take advice from the 'box. I think this is broadly the approach I will take. The packaging says something like βSuperior inductionβ or βInduction guaranteedβ. Itβs touch and go. The razorβs edge.

I have a stone pestle and mortar. Heaviest thing in the kitchen. Have to be particularly careful with it when putting it in the sink.
