5 is a hot mess. And racist. I forget, was that a real scandal or the sort they invent for articles over at the other place? I liked 5 for the multiplayer, but I don't really enjoy resident evil so it wasn't sullying anything for me. |

It is set in sub-Saharan Africa, but the only black characters are effectively a tribal mob. It's like something from the 1950s. I don't think Capcom intended to do that. It is just they were unaware of how white guy goes to Africa, saves the world from frenzied mob of Black people might look. And the game isn't great anyway. |
