Not my words, but those of Baby Fark Jnr and his friends as they run around the playground.

Cromer-chat! Go to Sheringham instead. Or Wells. Cromer is OK for a visit, but tries too hard to live up to the 'All Pier and hotels' vibe, and feels a bit artificial cos of that. Sheringham has a much nicer feel to it, plus a working steam railway if that's your thing. The 2 are so close together though that you could do both in a day. Wells used to have a narrow gauge steam railway, but that was ripped out a couple of years back, and replaced with an electric-bus-shuttle service. Thanks Greta! The fish'n'chip racket is run by 2 local mafiosi.... the French's and the Platten's who both know their stuff, but you will get better service if you slag off the other family, whichever you choose. Oh and you can say Hi to my mum. If you do visit Cromer, look out for the blue plaque to the Sex Pistols, who played their penultimate UK gig at the Links Pavilion there on Xmas eve 1977, and make sure you gob on it for posterity. The blue-rinse brigade love that. Thamks, I will certainly follow your advice re:the Mafia.

Overheard in Kelvingrove Art Gallery:
"That's a bit like one of those Matchstick men paintings... Eh Lowry"
A bit like? That will be a Lowry ya clown.

Hello all!
Today, I’ve gone full-Brighton&Hove-parent with the boy: a walk around Waitrose which included grabbing some sushi for lunch, and then a trip to the local swimming pool.
After said sushi for lunch, and a delayed-bounce on the trampoline, he’s now playing Minecraft.

Afternoon all
2 more days in Netherlands last week, didn't bring anything naughty back this time.
Landed at Manchester Airport Friday teatime, two trams over to Salford straight to the Lowry Theatre to watch Stewart Lee. Funniest touring show he's done in years, four stars
Trying to get ahead of myself with work since then because we're off to Gran Canaria tomorrow. Three return flights in a month (don't tell Greta)
PM came back from work trip to Glasgow this morning, so lunch was Heinz Oxtail soup with one of the Mortons crispy rolls I made her stop and buy. Good stuff.

Shattered, post treatment... I know that this is outside the box's remit, but I'm still ashamed of the way these guys were treated. "When the government sent British forces into Afghanistan, it knew no military operation would be possible without the vital support of Afghans working alongside them. These brave men and women put their lives on the line and it was only right that the UK offered them refuge and the chance to build a life in safety and security when the war ended.
But that pledge is now at risk. Attempts to create safe routes to the UK for all those who served have failed – and the government’s attempt to deal with the small boats crisis is set to make things worse. One Afghan airman – who flew in dozens of missions alongside coalition forces – has been told he faces deportation to Rwanda because he came to the UK in small boat. As he has told us, he only came here that way because there was no other route.
Here at The Independent, we believe that this hero – and all those who served alongside him – should be given the right to stay in the UK. Senior military figures and MPs agree. As Tobias Ellwood, chair of parliament’s defence select committee, said of the deportation threat: “This is not who we are as a nation.”
We are calling on the government to give refuge to Afghan veterans who served alongside British forces. The government must live up to its promise to all those who served alongside the British military in Afghanistan.
Thank you for your support.

Not my words, but those of Baby Fark Jnr and his friends as they run around the playground. ’Last one out’s a girl’ was a favourite end of school game for Jr. Lazybones and friends. The game was to run out of the classroom and race to the school gates. Good game. Even if it was steeped in Andrew Tate level shit.

Made burgers and wedges for dinner. We had bought m&s special burger sauce which is a pretty good facsimile of the sauce on a Big Mac™.
Had a good wander round the west end earlier. A LOT of building works going on around the Uni and that area in general.
So many good looking food spots as well.
