Morning dweebs,
I dug the PS2 out the loft a couple of days back. It was packed away with GTA Vice City, THPS 3 & 4, and FFXII. Of which, I'll only play Tony Hawk's as there are better versions of the other two available on PS4 that I already own.
Kotaku just reposted its best of PS2 article and it's got me thinking, is there any other games outside of Tony Hawk's that are worth playing where the best versions are still on PS2? From their list, the only one I wanted to play was Persona 4 (I never pulled the trigger on a Vita).
Suggestions welcome.

Pretty sure we'll have done this top 5 a million times before. Off the top of my head, I'm going with: Persona 4 (vita version aside) Katamari Damacy THPS3 THPS4 Persona 3 FES Actually, that was a pain in the arse. Seems we're spoiled with re-releases these days. Guess I'll just stick the PS2 back in the loft when I'm bored of THPS/it cripples my hands. |

Was it really that good at the time? I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.. it really has not aged well, colours are awful and the tasks are a bit dull. Having said that I'm sure I read somewhere that after RDR2, Bully 2 was next up- so there must be a lot of love for it out there. |

Its not the best version (Gamecube is better) but I think Killer 7 was on PS2? Also Viewtiful Joe
When PS2 games come up I like to mention Forbidden Siren, it is on PS4 so not pertinent to your query but heck be damned I'm going to mention it anyway.

Last night I watched a bit more of The Expanse S1. I like it.
I also did the Dailies and some stuff towards the Weeklies in The Division.
Also, Thrasher: Skate & Destroy shat all over the THPS games when it came out. Skate 3 is the current GOATOTY skateboarding game though.
