Didn't Dicky Colon used to play up front for West Brom in the '60s? I should have said in defence. Something about being sloppy at the back

"Hi faceless, are you joining the call? You're next up on the agenda"
Bollocks. Haven't seen the agenda, and thought it was one of those meetings I could just ignore

Didn't Dicky Colon used to play up front for West Brom in the '60s? I think he presented World of Sport. From the Wiki :-
Colon was known by his full name, Richard Colon, but changed to Dicky Colon at the suggestion of his ITV Sport colleague Jimmy Hill.

Morning all, Eurovision semi final was underwhelming. The Netherlands was a great act but way to subtle, Azerbaijan sent out Merry and Pippin and they needed Loreen to inject some needed stage presence. Finland was naff, Israel was another J-Lo routine and Ireland? Sheesh. Czech seemed to have something about it but it was thin gruel. Hoping the second semi has something which isn't passive busking or low calorie shock acts. WRONG!

Well actually right about a few things. The Finland entry is excellent though. And the Netherlands very poor …
I haven’t got much else to say ….

I imagine Scottish_Pint_Legend to be English_Pint_Legend's cooler cousin from north of the border. Probably got a PS5/Xbox, a hipster moustache, leather jacket and a sweet hog which he rides around Glasgow picking up hot chicks in bars and kicking sand in the faces of PC owners. I imagine him to be rotting away in a Glaswegian alleyway, needle stuck in his arm and laying in his own faeces. Empty bottles of Buckie rolling around his feet. Tl:dr: a typical PlayStation owner Hiya!

Where's your cheese conveyor belt review you slacker. I have been to a cheese conveyer belt restaurant. It was in Covent Garden. It was ok. But … I went with a few colleagues from work and there seemed to be a ‘share plates’ deal that I wasn’t into. And the portions of cheese were quite small. I don’t think I would go back. Soon. Unless the parameters of the sharing situation were agreed on in advance.

75 minutes. Grab what you can. No rules.
Given the likely price of the cheese I reckon I could eat £60-70 of cheese at full prices, no problem.
That's probably only 3 small bits at London prices.

Yes 1,000 would give you 1.44 GB. AC Valhalla is about 120GB in full so 80,000 ish depending on how much space you need for the wrapper. Imagine it failing 3 discs from the end. I had a copy of MS Office for Windows 3 on 25 discs back in the day. It was a nightmare to reinstall and needed it on a reasonably regular basis. I also had something on multiple CDs. It might have been Encarta. I could probably use it to update and correct Wikipedia. Since getting back into the Amiga scene, I don’t think I’ve used a floppy disk to transfer data. It’s a pain to read and write Amiga-formatted double-density disks on a PC or Mac - so I transfer everything by copying to it from ADFs through emulation.

Share plates stuff with colleagues. A tricky one.
FUCKIN HAWNS AFF *Tends* to work, but you're not looked on in the best light.
The only colleagues I work with who I'd go to a tapas etc with we'd all be ok tbh. Probably. Possibly.

Speaking of the Amiga…
Amigablog: a brand-new* Amiga game arrived in the post yesterday - Cyberpunks 2. Going to give it a go later on the CD32.
Eventblog: turns out we won’t be going to see the Van Gogh Live exhibit on Friday, as the Brighton Dome are still having their building works done. Bit peeved to be honest.
Gardenblog: keep seeing a vixen and a couple of cubs playing at the end of our garden. PM just spotted them in next door’s garden - said-vixen actually has four cubs!
*release date 5th May 2023!

Years back before we had dogs, a pair of foxes dug a sett in the wild bit of the garden. Watching the cubs was something to treasure..
