I have an unpleasant day today. There’s a member of academic staff at work who seems to be waging war on one of the people in the … small group of people I have line management responsibility for ... I had Friday off and have come back to an email thread of madness. There’s been a fair bit of bungling, from what I can see, from this psychological war perpetrator, and they always try and blame it on the administrator. I replied to the thread, this morning - tired and annoyed - and this … instigator of the psychological violence has now come back to say she’s very upset by my response ... Ah man … She sounds really unpleasant |

A disaster has befallen me. I've just got back from the shop and discovered I accidentally picked up smooth peanut butter. It's terrible. Peanut butter for people who can't handle reality

Morning simulants with stimulants!
I've been thinking about this whole simulation theory thing. Sure you could probably make enough VR headsets to put one on every person and have them live in a simulation, but who is controlling the animals? You'd need tiny little VR headsets for the mice to control the simulation mice.
And then what about ants? There are quadrillions of them. Quadrillions of tiny VR headsets for ants to control the simulation ants. Makes no sense.

Had a haircut earlier. All 10 of them. And it's gone up from £11 to £12! An extra quid for cutting less hair. Broken Britain. I doubled down and gave an extra £1 tip to make him feel bad. I'm sure he'll not sleep tonight, up all night racked with guilt, probably hack himself to death with the number 3 clippers.
