BBC News had advice to those who can't be bothered with the royal wedding. Watching the FA Cup was one option, another one was going shopping and enjoying shops without queues. We considered it but eventually chose "having a lie-in".
It was a good lie-in, although inexplicably I had a dream about playing Fortnite on a huge monitor with a bunch of people. In reality I've never played Fortnite, so the dream was mainly about the technicalities of setting the whole thing up, finding USB ports etc.
I'm clearly too young and impressionable for this forum.

My recommendation after watching Baby's videos was the Outside Xtra "Show of the Weekend: Hyrule Warriors on Switch and Jane's Formidable Warrior." I liked it, too. Baby's got obviously superb taste in videos. I'm not buying Hyrule Warriors for a third time (for now), but it's a great game. So much content. I've probably put 100 hours or more into it and barely scratched the surface. Pity that Koei Tecmo made such a Horlicks out of their latest Warrior game. |

I managed to avoid the Royal Wedding by sitting outside in the sun with a book and a bottle of cider while my wife watched much of the sorry spectacle on TV.
Next I shall avoid watching the FA Cup final by the simple expedient of not switching on the TV.

Back from the child's party. Lots of presents to open and stuff to tidy. Won't get a beer for a couple of hours I'm afraid. It will be washing down curry. No footy will be watched.
The weather is looking good for next weekend which pleases me as I'm off Fri/Mon. Time yet for my hopes to be dashed.
