Sorry to hear that muffrat. The care package sounds good but would rather kebab than Indian, too much risk of hidden nuts and allergies.

I had the best bowl of noodles I’ve ever have today. It’s the same bowl of noodles I’m getting every day, but these were particularly delicious.
Liangpi cold skin noodles with sesame and gluten.
I can see they probably don’t seem like much, written down ...

Condolences for your Dad Muffrat.

My work has a subscription to Which. They don't seem to review mini ovens but they do review combi microwaves. The Panasonic NN-CT55JWBPQ & Nn-CD87KSBPQ and Samsung MC28A5125AK get the best scores and best buy approval.
If you want the full reviews let me know and I'll send you.

Thanx for all the help re: mini ovens.
OTTDM: Just squashed a spider in the kitchen. In my defence, it was rather large and after the cat's food. Mrs T has administered a thorough bollocking.

Seconded - we've got a tower air fryer which has wire racks like an oven, instead of drawers. We use instead of the oven for most things, rarely use the actual oven any more unless we're making a roast dinner, or lasagne/something big. It's got a rotisserie too, so I cook a small chicken a couple of times a week in about 55 minutes. Best thing I've bought for the kitchen in years. I'll forward you the details if you're bothered. They had the same model in B&M the other day for £80, which is £30 less than I paid for mine

We have a commercial 2 x 16 litre fryer.
Would you like fries with that?

It's ok to leave the 1970s. When I logged in to the Which website I was asked to fill in a survey. One of the questions was "Do you think Which is a modern brand?"

Well compared to Sumeria or Rome or the HRE yes.l, yes it is. Would Roman from Succession use it? Not so much.
