Morning all!
I’ve managed to get the house down to a cool 22 degrees this morning. Now getting the curtains drawn and blinds down to prevent our sun from heating the air.
TVblog: managed to convince my partner to give The Orville a go. I’ve been wanting to rewatch it, so this is A Good Thing.
Certainly better than more Friends…
Tankfestblog: oh yeah, I didn’t tell you about Tankfest on Saturday. The boy and I were up at 5:30AM on Saturday, and then out the door at 6:30 to rendezvous with my brother and his sons for 7AM. We then began the long journey down to Dorset…
My brother’s driving is… slightly aggressive. He chucks that S-Max around like a Yodel delivery driver with a long-wheelbase Transit. And the gear-changes were very jerky to boot. Coupled with a very-stuffy interior due to no aircon (it leaks), and high BPM-metal pumping at volume, my son threw up after an hour.
Anyway, Tankfest itself was alright. My son wasn’t really into it much - having watched the first arena show, he stated that that was it, so let’s go to the shop and then go home. We’d only been there half an hour…
So I got a couple of arena viewings done, but otherwise I was walking him around the various stalls or just trying to keep out of the sun.
On the plus side, we did have some very tasty bratwurst for lunch.
Got home around 8PM, and I think I died at that point.

My Community shop does small batch chocolate coated sweets. They had my usual dark chocolate ginger but no cranberries this week. I almost got the dark chocolate coated coffee beans. Having googled them 1ounze contains twice the caffeine of a black coffee. Their like little energy boost sweets.
