In the Divison can you give peeps your stuff? My old character has lone star gloves she aint using. Lone star gloves. One careful owner. Looks like yes & no. Drop it on the ground and any other person from your group will be able to pick it up. There are a couple of rules: The player who is supposed to get the item needs to be part of the group. They need to have been a part of the group when you originally picked it up, as well. |

Morning, I’m still in France as I was unable to get home due to the strike. I’m starting to see Amipals point about France. EasyJet have been useless and I have no idea if I’m in this hotel for another night or not, so can’t even plan anything. Phoned them up to be told “the system is down for an upgrade and they can’t check anything until it’s back up”

Another late night despite being absolutely knackered. I somehow played past my tiredness - Mad Max gets to be quite compelling, more so now that I have the Thunderpoon. BOOM!

Morning, I’m still in France as I was unable to get home due to the strike. I’m starting to see Amipals point about France. EasyJet have been useless and I have no idea if I’m in this hotel for another night or not, so can’t even plan anything. Phoned them up to be told “the system is down for an upgrade and they can’t check anything until it’s back up” Cunts. Seems like you're caught in the perfect storm of French work ethic and corporate incompetence. Maybe you'll be back for Christmas. Maybe. |

I have loathed the French ever since I was in a bar in a casino on the North coast in France and tapped on the Kronenbourg pump and made a drinky drinky sign. This resulted in a thorough dressing down by a snooty bar manager in perfect English who stated I should have made the effort to learn at least some French. |

My mate kept doing that in Denmark, despite everyone speaking fluent English. We weren't sure which train to get on the way home so he walked up to a member of staff and put hand on the train and said "Airport? Air-port?" The guy, without missing a beat, replied "No, that's a train." |

Destry was picking on an Iraqi last night for having too good an English vocabulary and refusing to emend his writing, and today we're all over the cheese eating surrender monkeys for learning our language better than we learn theirs. If you're in the situation again baby the correct French is:
PINT OF KRONENBOURG....... PINT OF KRONENBOURG
The pronunciation is a bit tricky at first, just imagine the bar is next to an aeroplane taking off and you'll do fine.

Ah, drinky drinky sign, the universal language, the language of peace.
Germans are told from an early age to either speak English or learn the local lingo or keep their trap shut when abroad. On one occasion we had bought some beer in a small Czech supermarket (as one does) when, on the way out, one of the bottles broke and a piece of glass slashed my leg. I realised only later that the kind elderly woman who helped me cleaning up the mess was responding in German to me jabbering in English. On that trip we were also asking directions from a janitor and found that the only language we had in common was French. Pourquoi?
On a holiday to Prague my brother and his partner were able to help a Danish tourist because both are fluent in Danish and know a bit of Czech. Best coincidental language combination I've ever heard of.
