Ah, the glamour and bustle of New York (well, Syracuse in NY state). I wish it were me. Chap even has his own business. He sounds like a go-ahead sort of fellow.

I'd love to be trapped in France.
Case (or one of those 5L kegs) of Pelforth, couple of bottles of red. What's not to like?

Other beers are also available.
I might see if I can get Belgium included in the trapped area (trappiste area?) just to be on the safe side.

Jacket potato with tuna and cheese.
Yes that's right, tuna AND cheese. Extra mature cheddar to be precise.

Jacket potato with tuna and cheese. Yes that's right, tuna AND cheese. Extra mature cheddar to be precise. The cheese was added first. Then once sufficiently melted, the tuna was added followed by a sprinkle of pepper and a dash of vinegar. Potato chat.

Sheep is obviously unhappy at his position in the table... Or was busy economy wrecking this morning, but had a few minutes to post at lunch.

Lunch: I was following amipal's example and had the same kind of posh Italian herby ham. I've had it before and can confirm that it's very nice.

Scubar do you have a hotel yet or are you now another beggar on a dusty French street with aspirations of one day entering the UK?

Pelforth is great stuff. Case of Blonde, case of Brune, all the cheese, sorted. Christ, I’m dreadfully thirsty.

The place at Cherbourg has been shut now hasn't it?
Tough luck, scubar.

All I’ve got is a case of corona, 4 Camden Hells and load of untypeable German wheat beer. I’d better go to the shop on the way home.

I’m staying in Parc Asterix, although everything has been sortedvtoo late to justify spending £40 to go in.
And after speaking to the front desk, it’s looking like things are not sorted.

Hola! I'm in Barcelona, voluntarily, and I can leave any time I want (unless the Germans send Puidgemont back tomorrow, in which case I will be stranded in a warzone). So far I have accidentally eaten a tuna sandwich that I mistook for chicken, and the blazing sun rendered me at least 50% more swarthy just walking from the terminal to the bus stop. What the hell have you ever done?

I’ve studiously avoided Barcelona since the late 1990s, thank you for asking.
Why are you all abroad, anyway? Is it because Destry came back?

On the contrary, I am doing the Destry heritage trail. Next week, glorious Teesside.
