I’ve just seen that the Visdeurbel is in Utrecht. A great place. I’m wondering if I should go there, in a week’s time.
I was busy today. Someone moved a meeting from the 7th of July to this afternoon at 15.00. It was a big meeting. There were academic colleagues losing their cool. Well one academic …
There was another academic college breezily steering the meeting onto the rocks. It was awful. Entertaining for a while. A friend came over and we chortled at it as it unfolded. Then it become clear I had something to say. But by this point the wheels had come off and it was soon ‘reconvened’ For Monday at 9.00. A bad business. I won’t be there. But I will be at work tomorrow. I want to pound a rock with a stick, in slow motion. It’s been a hard week.

I started the Ken Burns Vietnam series when it was on Netflix. The bastards removed it after I'd only watched a couple of episodes.

It’s well worth buying Ken Burns’ Vietnam on disc. One of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen.

Nobody watching Rocky V on ITV? Don't blame ya.
Me neither. Just watched Best Selling Songs of 1985 (or something). A cracker.
I also have early onset butterflies syndrome. I'm supposed to be going out tomorrow, late afternoon. On a stag do. Not a mental young lads stag do. A pub crawl. Apart from one of them, who I keep in touch with, and is a friend, I haven't seen most of the others for over 20 years. I really don't want to go..
