I managed a very quick painting session, slapping some Vallejo Game Colo(u)r on some Dwarfs. That’s because I suddenly realised I have less than a week to go til a Warhammer Fantasy battle. And that’s on top of the Imperial Guard stuff I need for my Plymouth trip in October. Bleurgh. I had a dwarf army back in my Warhammer days. Blood Angel space marines for 40k, and a Dark Elf bloodbowl team On a completely unrelated note, I didn't lose my virginity until I was 19 Ditto! Although I was (and still am) Ultramarines. |

Went to a pals after work and I'm on the second train home. Rather hungry.
There is food for me at home or I would have grabbed something in town.

I'm reading the LIDL's free weekly magazine. On the back page, they are advertising an oscillating spindle & belt sander for £149.99.
I don't know about you, but I think LIDL may have fucked up with their product placement.

Errrr he has ‘form’ for this…. Although in his defence this time he’d just picked up some new meds from the doc, got them muddled with his old ones, and the couple of sneaky lunchtime trebles knocked him down.
Best option is to take an internal transfer to a team that’s office based, as he’s only gone doolally since lockdown as he struggled to wfh, and he’s the only one of his team to still go to the office each day. Will find out tomorrow how he gets on. Had to snaffle his bottle of vodka off him,on condition we return it to him after the meeting, although he likely has a secret stash at home. Gave him a garlicky curry to mask the livener he may well have for the meeting. 50:50 he’ll keep his job.
