Hello all!
I’m not working today, and nor did I yesterday. It is the summer holidays, and I’m at home with the boy.
TVblog: new Futurama! And then I watched the cross-over episode of Lower Decks/Strange New Worlds. Excellent!

I finished watching s3 of detectorists last night. I'm now debating whether to watch the special they did last year. I sort of feel like they left the original run at just the right place. Not sure I need to know what they all got up to 5 years later

I'm back from 2006, which is when I bought this laptop. It is slower than Shenguin serving fries. The other one seems bolloxed. Would a USB mouse really fix a mouse driver issue? Dunno. Where's Destry? He has the same lappy as me.

Tids
Have you made sure the HD isn't too full? That can mess things up. Does the touchpad work? If it's a wireless mouse change the battery. Also try a different mouse. If that works you kn o w your mouse is bricked. Try it on a different usb port if possible. If not i'd uninstall the mouse completely and reinstall it. Failing that a new mouse is less than £10. You can try repairing windows. That might help. The last time I had a problem with a mouse that wasn't a battery issue was in 1995 on a Time Computer. That had an intermittent fault on the motherboard. To be fair they did fix it.

I am easily flattered though, so thank you. Strangely not, I thought that she would enjoy the post, I admit I show her my posts most often when I had a good like ratio or something that I thought was well written. She indulges me with a basic "well done". Though to her credit I don't get a pat on the head.

I don't use a mouse. I use the built-in touchpad. *
* And a bluetooth keyboard since some of the keys on the laptop have a tendency to stop working intermittently...

Mouse driver won't boot up. Bumholes. Drinking now... windows 7 or 10, if 10 upgrade to 11 and reset mouse.. that or find a large stick and give your laptop a dam good thrashing, Faulty Towers style. (edited, yes I know I'm late)

I should've made it clear. It's the built-in touchpad that isn't working due to an issue with the driver. Now then, I don't have an actual mouse, but if I did, would it use a different driver and therefore work?
