Hi.
Games? AC Origins. It's good. I'll probably do the usual with these games and get bored halfway through, but the Egyptian vibe is very well done. Quite pumped for the new one set in Baghdad.
Telly? The Bear s2: 5 episodes down. There is much less shouting now and instead the characters talk to each other in earnest wordy monologues backed by constant and extremely on the nose soft rock (e.g. a song about not being alone when a character looks lonely), with long montage sequences showing how they are all going on 'journeys'. Everything is shot in extreme close up for no reason, and everyone says 'um' and trips over their words constantly because it's so real, man. It is a hipster One Tree Hill. Imagine Grey's Anatomy or Dawson's Creek directed by Shane Meadows. Astonishing television.

I'm not impressed with series 3 of The Witcher. The show's strengths are monster fights and exploring. Instead we get boring meetings and dances and lots of scheming and plotting.
Plus Henry Cavill has now left.

TVblog - watched a documentary about Bill Gates and his 5G network. I've seen it before but watched it again because I am a simpleton. It's called 'Kingsman: The Secret Service'. Would recommend, 4*.
OTTM, still wondering about that man in a bear suit. Maybe it's not a man in a suit, but a botched man/bear mutant splicer created in a lab. Perhaps it catches salmon in a river, but using a fishing rod. Food for thought.

This is a tad annoying:
"PSA: Full post tomorrow, but for Baldur's Gate 3 players with existing Early Access saves, we ask that prior to August 3, launch the game, and delete all save files to avoid unintended conflicts at launch," Larian tweeted earlier today. "Also, remove any mods and ensure they do not automatically re-download."
We recommend players with Early Access installed uninstall the game after deleting their save files," they continued in a followup tweet. "This will reduce the risk of file conflicts when the final game downloads, and should mean more playing, and no troubleshooting! We’ll have a full guide for launch tomorrow."
BG3 releases at 16:00 tomorrow.
