A few years ago, the mammal who no longer tolerates me and I were watching the episode of Community where they play D&D. The MWNLTM asked me if it reminded me of my teenage years. I told her I'd never played D&D. She absolutely refused to believe me Good luck watching that episode again. Removed from streaming due to an Asian man in “blackface”. He was a night-elf! |

I am actually slightly D&D curious. I've got a mate who used to be into it, but when I asked him about it his face took on a haunted look. The thousand yard stare of a man who's pretended to see things that no one should have to pretend to see

Morning lump handlers!
Games - Couldn't sleep so was up until 3 playing The Gates of Bal'Dur the Third (3). Made a Warlock, got blown up in the first ten seconds and reloaded a save. Top banana. Then befriended a walking talking brain. It's going well. Also played Baldurs Gate 3.

Some of the wilder lads from the old chatterbox meet up every year to play games.
They hire a house near Burton and spend a long weekend in a dirty sock.
I don't think they play much D&D, but other weirdo board games are de rigeur.
I am sure they would welcome naive new flesh if any of you want in.
I have never been, but I'd be prepared to send a suicide bomber there to clear the place out.

Toasted yesterday's sourdough with Philadelphia light, turkey and cucumber.
I didn't get a bit of the leftover strawberry mousse flan the PM's mum made.
Mainly as the child has a friend over and I gave it to them. But it means I don't have to entertain the child all day, so swings and roundabouts.
Not had chips & curry sauce for years.
Half chips, half fried rice, curry sauce & onions from the Chinese.
Almost as good as chips & Bolognese with parmesan. Dirty fries before it was a thing.

I’ve actually only played half a game of D&D. But I’ve played another tabletop role playing game.
I liked the character creation a lot but then it didn’t seem like a game. It just seemed like a lot of … mucking about.
To be honest one of the other players began to annoy me.

I've been playing Halo CE on PC. Definitely doesn't feel as much fun with keyboard and mouse.

You can get console only for £8.99 - but don't think you get EA Play as part of that. They've cancelled the family plan thing they were trialling in Ireland as well. #bawbags |

Has Belgian beer festival on.
6 strong ales for £11. That's £1 cheaper than usual.
They also have Petrus Dubbel and St Feuillon blonde.
I would prefer Petrus blonde, but for less than £2 a bottle it a strong haul.
Sadly I can't really drink strong Belgian beer tonight. I have to be up and fit to drive in the morning.
