I am ill, still…
I woke up and my ear got blocked. I also feel drained of essential elan. I am definitely still ill. I spent most of the morning playing monster Hunter, but the pm is cleaning and doing a lot of housework around me. I feel like a dosser and a dwad, but I am definitely ill so I think it’s ok.

Years ago my Aunt & Uncle bought a house in Chester. It was a bit of a fixer upper and my uncle had just had massive heart surgery. He was told to rest.
He sat in the garden on a lounger and my aunt was asking some workies across the street about pouring cement.
They took pity on her and her feckless husband and came over and poured a path for them.
So don't feel so bad Lazybones.

We're in Edinburgh. Just out a "theatre" which is in grand lodge #1. Didn't have to do any funny handshakes to get in. Legally Blonde the Musical. Entertaining. Now to persuade the child to eat somewhere interesting. Legally orange? |

Just watched a lad from Hong Kong dancing with a massive hula hoop in the street. Very impressive.
I can eat a whole multipack of hula hoops at one sitting. You don't see me claiming that's street theatre.

I’ve been playing Monster Hunter for most of the day. I just need one Girros pelt(?) and 12,000z(?) and I’ll finally be in business. The cheat armour the game gave me led me up a wrong path. I replaced it all but have been coming a cropper many times as a result. Like I said though - with this new equipment I’ve got in mind - I’ll be back.

Of old games and old gamers would the hive mind recommend baldurs gate 1 &2? Were they cutting edge for most here when they came out? BG1&2 were great but do show their age, esp 1, 3 surpasses them and I would go for that. Of the other 2 BG2 is worth it if you want to wait for a sale on 3. |

Evening
I'm drunk and watching S5 E12. I think midway into S3 I was ready for it to be over, but now I think I'll miss it and want it to carry on. Although I'll be glad to be able to watch other stuff.
My shin of beef vindaloo was out of this world. Sublime, 6*. Added potatoes to make it a two nighter. Although I've fished them out into bowls so they don't break up during the reheating tomorrow. Also, I went maverick with the chillies. I added some birds eyes cut in half as required, but also added two whole uncut Scotch bonnets just to float on top of the sauce in the pan and extract their delicious fruitiness, then took them out before eating.
OTTM, it's basically late autimn/early winter here, about 9°, sigh.
