Going back to bluerays and disney from yesterday. Torrents are still a thing. I don't subscribe to any of the streamers but I can still watch the series or films I want to watch by downloading and storing on NAS.

I also steal via torrent.
We're subscribed to Apple, Prime and Disney. Fuck paying for anything else. HBO/Netflix/Sky gets nicked.
I also steal Apple TV stuff despite subscribing. We stream it on the Apple TV box on the telly. They don't have an Android app so the stuff I'm watching on the train I nick.

I only borrow a very very small percentage of the entire output 0.00001% maybe. Edit.... it's possibly only been made illegal by corporate lobbyists who are greedy and all consuming of the people's rights to share with each other. |

I guess you never used a cassette tape to make a copy from the radio when young. I'm sure it was all copyright back then even but I still did it. Netflix is now doing it's house sharing thing. Avoiding it for as long as possible with as many people sharing one account as we can. Guess they will figure soon enough.

Just out a "theatre" which is in grand lodge #1. Didn't have to do any funny handshakes to get in.
Legally Blonde the Musical.
Entertaining.
Now to persuade the child to eat somewhere interesting.

I torrented Ableton once. I also once stole a tape with a music making programme from a WHSmith copy of Your Sinclair ...
The laptop with Ableton got soaked in wine, and I took the Your Sinclair tape back to WHSmith (though the damage to the sellotape and the front of the magazine had already been done).
I have no strong feelings about torrenting. I don’t think it’s so much like stealing a car. It’s got more in common with reading a book that someone else bought.
