Hello.

Yesterday the weather was alright. Before it wasn't. Since we had more than a month's worth of rain in one hour I'd say we are good for a while. Brummies are likely to excel at a new Olympic event. It's called Wheelie Bin White Water Rafting and has become very popular over the weekend.

It has been a strange Bank Holiday. The family was supposed to visit and had to cancel, which was just as well as they hadn't opted for an amphibious vehicle as the family car. I therefore had to eat my way through two large punnets of strawberries that I had bought as dessert for seven people. I'm now more strawberry than woman.

Afternoon all,

Quiet in here today. Weather in London was lovely yesterday, today it looks like Thor himself has sent the lightning upon us.

That neatly segways into me talking about God of War. Spent the evening with it yesterday and I do not regret my impulse purchase one bit.

Its going straight in as the best game on PS4 for me (that I've played). The first hour or so has been breathtaking. When I first put it in my PS4 I thought it was about to explode with the amount of work it out in to power it.

Everything about it is so, so polished. I played the first GOW and found it ok, this is on a different level. The combat and movement of kratos feels powerful and realistic, the graphics are incredible and thus far the game has flipped from epic action to slow paced exploration and every bit has been as incredible as the last.

And the axe, the axe! I've not played a game where the weapon feels like such an extension of the character, it is unbelievably satisfying throwing it about and calling it back.

I learnt about that Active Shooter game yesterday from the Jimquisition. Not much to add to it, really. Sure, make a tone-deaf shitty game that gives the NRA and associated politicians an excuse to weasel out of responsibility for gun violence by blaming video games, why don't you.

I've been in the comments of the Flat-Earther conference article over the weekend and I'm feeling pretty drained. There is just too much stupid everywhere.

No wonder the mess went everywhere when it was cancelled.

It was the BTL equivalent of ghosts escaping when they turn off the power in ghost busters.

If you stop touching yourself furiously the discomfort will ease.
