It always reminded me of the picture at the end of The Shining.

I like you, Socky. I always liked you. You were always the best of them. Best goddamned boxer from Timbuktu to Portland, Maine. Or Portland, Oregon, for that matter.

After the blazing heat of the weekend, this cooler damper Tuesday is much needed.
Morning all. I'm going on a tip run, anyone want anything?

It was mercilessly hot and dry here yesterday. No rain, no storms. I'm not sure whether or not I survived.

Morning! Hot here yesterday too. It's probably still hot about 50 feet up, but below that we have a very dense haar. I watched it moving ominously up the river last night like the mist in that movie about scary mist, I forget the title. Weather chat!

It was hot here too, I now possess a proper farmers tan, mostly gained by going outside waiting for my dog to poo.

Morning all
Dark Souls Remastered is good, I'm still terrible. I finally completed God of War and went through some of the story on Final Fantasy X.
It's too hot.

Morning!
Weather chat! Hot up here for the whole weekend, cloudy yesterday though.
Went on a little trip to the Farne Islands on Saturday, where we saw lots of birds and seals, and got attacked, mercilessly, by Arctic Terns. Fuckers have sharp beaks!
Rest of the weekend comprised of barbecue, complaining about the burnt scalp (baldness is the worst!), games and work.
Games wise, I played three. WoW and State of Decay 2, usual fare, although I did finish my first area in SoD, now we go again, joy. The third, Moonlighter. Finally released and I'm loving it. On to the third dungeon now and showing no sign of getting old. The dungeon diving beats the shop keeping element, as you'd expect, but it's still good fun. 4 *s.

Good morning, I too experienced weather over the weekend. It was ok.
Games: Thimbleweed Park - I've reached the point of having to Google some of the puzzles. For some reason 'use trophy with radioactive waste, use radioactive waste with puddle' hadn't occurred to me.
Dark Souls - finally some slight progress, once I realised I wasn't supposed to be in the area with the water ghosties

Mornin'
I was at Slam Dunk yesterday and as a result I'm feeling every single minute of my age today. Punk might not be dead but after 10 hours of bouncing around at the Fireball Stage, and 4.5 hours kip, I'm not far off. Worth it though.

Everybody’s dead, then? Fair enough.
As well as having drunk far too much this weekend, I’ve got hay fever for the first time in about 5 years and it’s all a bit much.

Cobblers has an allergy to alcohol? Harsh.
Weather chat is the best. I have received my bank holiday quota of rain and lightning this morning.

I quite enjoyed the storms. Thunder and lightning overhead at 3 am is much more exciting than sleeping. Also Sunday was quite wet. A couple of local drain covers had been popped yesterday, which is unusual. The actual life threatening quantities of rain were 5-6 miles away.
An ideal opportunity to remain inside and play games.
I have done in Gravelord Nito in Dark Souls Remastered.

Also there was some pretty good football on Saturday. I am a big fan of crushing Play Off final defeats leading to financial meltdown.

Despite typing meatspin's address into the URL box, the above does actually appear to be a legit link to the Squire's article.
