One thing I will say about going to 'the rugger' while sober is that it really opens your eyes to how boring rugby is.

Hi The gang are back from camping and the house is noisy again and a mess already *shakes fist* Made chilli for tea. Tried a new recipe. Added sun dried tomatoes in oil from a jar, plus, as well as the usual kidney beans, I also added a tin of mixed beans (Cannellini, Flageolet, Adzuki). ALL the fibre. Parp! Back to work tomorrow after 10 days off. Kill me. Please. OTTM, m1dnitecreeper is correct. Get a SteamDeck. All the beans before going to the office? Will they want you back or working from somewhere with a different air supply? Alas, I haven't been to an office since March 2020 when The Lizards decided to commence the Great Reset Scamdemic* and inject everyone with Bill's Depop serum. Can you look Grandma in the eye? Hands. Space. Laugh all the way to the bank. *nothing to do with Scamander. Or was it....

One other I'll say is that I discovered today I can no longer access my NAS because I turned on 2FA and it is failing to text or email me the code. You need to be an IT expert to use these things. Back to CDs it is.

Back to CDs it is. Oof You can generally reset the password I think mine was admin I lost the user password. Unless the NAS is directly open to the internet you don't want extra security on it. Two factor authentication is largely annoying. I am sure it is mostly to protect the bank, not me.

Back to CDs it is. Yeah, you fukin amateur. The real pros lock themselves out of their NAS by setting up a firewall. Synology? The reset without deleting the disk info worked fine. A total pain with setting everything back up again, but basically OK.

People who have heard your CD collection are well aware of that.

If the info on the disk is really valuable, take the disk physically out of the station, and then reset. Unless you've encrypted and don't have the key, in which case don't do that.

It's his CD collection. 80's and90s pop and indie with a bit of metal. More Teenage Fanclub than you own, probably less Whipping Boy, but otherwise functionally identical. In terms of value you could probably sell it to Music Magpie for £10. If you have £10 to waste. The emotional value is however incalculable.
