Hello all!
This morning I went to Brighton aquarium with my dad and the boy. I was amazed by the long-necked turtle there - a creature which looked like Ray Harryhausen had worked on it. Very dragon like. Very prehistoric.
Lunch was at the Harvester atop the site. A pint of Guinness and gammon’n’chips has left me feeling very sleepy this afternoon.

I went in Starbucks once, seemed a lot of faffing about for a coffee. What's wrong with a Thermos Flask?

I've not seen a large brand coffee shop in the three years since I moved. They are all independent owner tea/coffee shops. There is a McD about 8 miles away. There was talk of a KFC or similar being built in town. Local opposition was fierce and quick. Not heard about it since.

Currently on train to Southampton hoping the ship we're joing tomorrow has no more mishaps. Are you joining the Queen Mary II?

The child came home from school annoyed.
Her house captain application video couldn't be watched properly as iCloud was blocked. Her teacher got it for their year, but other years may not have been able to see it.
Let's roll back in time to Sunday when I wanted to help her upload said video to Google classroom and she wouldn't let me help. I wouldn't have shared a link. I would have uploaded the video.
You're not allowed to scream "fuckin telt ye" into children's faces anymore.
Political correctness gone mad.

I've spent a couple of weeks of my life aboard the Britannia.
Top tip - when boarding, ensure you opt OUT of the automatic service charge for cabin service, and leave your tips in cash in your cabin for the attendant to collect. You'll get a lot better service, and won't get stung every time you spend anything on board.

I have brand new internet. Faster than the old one. 61 Mbs as opposed to 30. It's the fastest available here apparently. I would have liked faster. Apart from that is identical. I haven't even got a new router. Cheap Sky bastard just changed a setting somewhere.

I am downloading BG3 on ps5. 108 GB. It will still take 14 hours. It does appear to be going much faster than before though. The loading is going up in bloc k s of 5MB, rather than 2.

Think I'll watch The Poseidon Adventure tonight. Before or after Titanic?

I went to the Titanic museum earlier. It was quite good
Seems an odd choice of film to base a museum on though

Sheep2Fibre 80? Average speed 61. We got about 74ish from Sky. Get the same from Vodafone. It might settle down and give you more.

Sky superfast 61. Apparently it is the best I can have. The local exchange won't do faster. I would like more, but I don't really need it. There are no fibre cables to the flats.
Netflix I have lost access. Wankers. I was piggybacking on my parents account and it says I can't do this. I don't think I'll bother with it. I don't watch it much as I've got Sky and Prime.

Should get CityFibre on the case (don’t, absolute shower of incompetent bastards)

CityFibre installed round here months ago and they're still saying "we're not in your area"
Get StarLink. Give Elon £75 a month.

I can stream in 4k and browse internet at the same time. I'm not sure what i'd use the extra speed for. I'm sure i wouldn't be allowed to have fibre if it means digging up outside the flat.

I once did some work on the pension scheme for the company that built the Titanic. Last I heard it was under assessment to go into the PPF (Pension Protection Fund).
Cool story. Compelling and rich.
