Morning,
Usual wed evening bin night & Asda delivery order.
TV. More Billions on the commute.
Games.
GTA double$ delivery. Made another half mill and helped a random guy deliver a full bunker.
The division. Mucked about with loadouts and changed my jaunty hat.
Guy just sat opposite me on the train when the standard commuter move would be sit diagonally to maximise leg room. Idiot.

Another day, another eternal struggle with Baby for second place.
Watched another episode of the Bobby Kennedy documentary last night. It's really beginning to jog my other half's memory, who was living in the US at the time. His access to news then was very limited; his parents didn't trust US newspapers and instead received some form of Observer printed on airmail paper from South Africa. Although there was a television the children weren't allowed it. His parents were involved in the protests against the Vietnam War "before it became fashionable", as he puts it.
Games: Since there's no carriage from Winterhold I looked at the map and my next destination and decided to break my "no fast travel" rule yet again. I went home to Whiterun, did some quick smithing, sorted my inventory and picked up Lydia for the next adventure. I also allowed Sofie to keep a pet rabbit and discreetly cooked some rabbit haunches while it wasn't looking.

The thread was about words no-one uses anymore, which quickly descended into crude sexual references and bizarre racist slang. Scoobs, I'm on the same boat. I've been working on a big project for my course (I've got after work until midnight to finish it and zip all the files together, what could go wrong?) and then have an exam on the 11th to study for. Much gaming is planned this summer, and no-one to tell me to go out in the sun. I'll be living my childhood dream! |
