Played the first hour of Cyberpunk. I dunno, seems a bit ponderous. Spent most of it in the passenger seat of a car.

On third run through of being starborn in stark field. You can do 10 trips and after that I'm going to settle down and build some base stations. I built one earlier on but everything disappears when your star born so it was pretty pointless. Found a really good rifle in the basement of the lodge.

I am in bed. I feel I need to get up soon to do some work I meant to do on Friday. But it’s warm in bed.
I have a fear of turning on Whatsapp. I was added to a group (without being aware of the membership of this group) and I seem to be bungling all my communications to it. I would leave but I’m seeing the people in the group later today.
You know when you think ‘chortle, chortle’, and post something - then you look back an hour later and there has been no response, and you read back what you posted and realise you got something wrong and actually what you posted looks quite bad, so you try and claw it back?

I belong to a WhatsApp group. Once a week Huw the farmer messages to say that the bottled milk is ready to be collected from the farm yard. It's not at all stressful.

Then you read back what you posted and realise you got it right first time so your efforts to claw it back look odd, but no-one responded anyway.

Maybe, one day, Huw posted about the milk by accident and now feels he has to do it every week to save face. His own family haven't had a glass of milk in years. It's very sad really.

While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, a fat old lady in a wheel chair moved up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened, and the lady rolled between them into a small room.
The walls closed, and the boy and his father watched the small numbers above the walls light up sequentially.
They continued to watch until it reached the last number, and then the numbers began to light in the reverse order.
Finally the walls opened up again and a gorgeous 24-year-old blond stepped out.
The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman, said quietly to his son...
"Go get your Mother."
