Just spent some time rummaging around in the bargain basement of the Nintendo e-shop and come out with Old Man's Journey (apparently quite a short game, but one that I really liked the look of) and Plague Road (for the low, low price of £1,90 - currently 15 quid on Steam).
Also massively discounted was Hollow, but reviews are still bad. I had forgotten that I'd already checked it out at full price. After reading the reviews I wouldn't have it for free.
The Mario Tennis Aces demo is live atm, but I haven't had a look at it yet.

Mario tennis aces- I had a play around on it earlier, Im surprised they let it out on a demo. Its really not great, people are already ridiculous at it just doing the same moves over and over(I know git gud etc.). But the actual tennis is worse than a smash court tennis game I had on the PS2.

I'm not fussed about it anyway, but I have heard from people who were very excited about it and who were hoping that lessons had been learnt from the disappointing Wii U version (never played that one either). |

Saying that, I'm still trying to sort out this ruddy MacBook Air. A drink would be most helpful right now. What's up with it? iphone won't connect to iTunes. Normally, this is because of a naff USB port, crap USB cable, or anti-virus software interfering. Since there's no anti-virus on the machine, I tried installing Avast. But that wouldn't install, because the OS is too old. So I setup a Time Machine disk to do a one-off backup. But that didn't work, because the boot disk needs repairing. Which I can't do without another boot disk. So I grab an older external hard drive I'd previously used, and was all ready to set that up as a boot disk, when I did a last minute check of the contents - and they needed copying somewhere else first. One thing after a bloody 'nother. |
