{Edit}oh yeah. I watched a bit of the Gran Turismo movie. Terrible stuff. They did that thing where they overlay a video game "winning" graphic during a car chase to show it's a video game film. Oof. Cringe.

It is not quite a case of Hell is round the corner where I shelter this morning, but I may peak early today.
The beer was nice, very nice. Paulaner Oktoberfest. 6%, so four bottles was plenty midweek.
It is good I enjoyed it as I bought two (more) cases at the weekend.
I noticed the cases say handle with care as they contain glass. I would agree you need to take care with them, but this is because 20 1/2 litre bottles plus plenty of cardboard weigh about 18 kg, so given their shape they are an appreciable lift and carry.

Interestingly(?) it is based on a true story, about someone who learned to race race cars by playing grand turismo and then became a professional meat space car racer. The part about him crashing and killing a spectator is also a real event and there have been questions about the way this is presented in the film for entertainment value. Top banana. |

I made sure I sat next to someone. Trapped them between me and the window. I hadn't actually booked that seat but I fiddled with the tickets and made it look as though I had.
