I can understand it. It's been clear from the start that the new owners wanted to appoint their own manager.
I knew there was trouble brewing last week.
It's unfortunate timing. Winning two matches and going 6th. Including beating our close friends on Friday.
I think Wazza will do ok. It's about brand recognition. Waz is world famous. Eustace played for Watford 15 years ago, during one of their less good spells. You can sell Rooney to players in a way that doesn't work with Eustace.
Rooney did ok at Derby considering their circumstances at the time. With a decent coaching staff I think it will be ok.
Definitely not Zola part 2. No way. Not at all.
Destry will be pleased anyway. Our next game is at in form Middlesbrough. It's surely an opportunity for them to be kind to us.

Car is going back in to sort out the gearbox warnings. Hopefully all under warranty. Possible gaming window later! Dealers won't fix a known fault on a car before they sell it, 'cos they pay for it. Sell it with a fault and the warranty company pays for it.

I finally made it home. Dry as a bone. Actually been home for hours but not been able to post as I've been laughing too hard at this quote from an article in the Guardian football section:
