I played Monster Hunter until 2am again. This morning I looked up information about Monster Hunter while I ate my breakfast.
I hadn’t thought about Monster Hunter for three hours. But now I’m on lunch and I’m thinking about it again.
I think the problem was that I started looking at Monster Hunter forums. There are some very strong opinions out there.

Someone said that. Not to me. It was a comment I happened across when searching for information about the Mammoth Greataxe II. When I put down the controller at 2am I’d just forged myself a Mammoth Greataxe II (in imaginary monster land). It looked good.

I’ve been trying to get the angry rock monkey armour in Rise but my heart just isn’t in it. I’m going to move on with my life, and start smashing up the soap dragon instead.

The last story-based one I did was the defending of the town / camp from the ice dragon, then I went for the shaggy-furred moose mammoth to get the sword (Mammoth Greataxe II). It looked easy to get but it turned out I had to smash the monster’s horns first. That’s what took me to 2am. Fantastic game. |
