Morning fam,
TV. Finished Top Boy S3. Nice twist with the two polis at the end.
Games. TLOU2. Shiting it. The surround SFX is very "good". The clickers coming out the walls is a nice touch as well. I may have jumped.

My pal reset his PS4 as his son told him it would fix his account not showing being logged in.
A) He didn't write down/have written down what email address he used for his PSN account.
B) The three possible email addresses I have for him are tied to old phone numbers and we (I) can't get recovered.
C) He didn't run this past me first - I would have asked did he have all the details to get back in?
His ADHD/Asperger's son couldn't contemplate not knowing a login or having access to your email. I know the stoner old cunt better.
What a fucking shit show.

ShenguinFfs that is awful. I don't know what you should do. A friend once told me if I ever found myself in this kind of situation unsure of what to do, always choose visit/call rather than leave it alone. But I have not been in this kind of situation.

I think it very much depends on the person you are planning to visit.
If they are well enough and alert enough and ok with seeing visitors then go.
If they are out of it on opiates and steroids all the time they are awake then less so. Also they may not feel they are in a fit state or in a position to want to see visitors. I'd say make it clear that you very much would like to see them and as soon as possible, but to let them make the decision.
I have already told Shengers this. And he is old enough and has enough experience to make a good judgement. Whether he will is an entirely different matter.

It might be easier to sign in to PSN on pc and go from there
Though Sony suggest he will need to contact support.
I think they will send a password reset email to the account. But he will need access to the registered email address obviously.
Also didn't they insist on two step verification a while ago?
I know it doesn't happen every time but I have received codes to log (on PC) in occasionally.
The Ps4 is/was very reliable. Usually if it wouldn't log in it needed an update or my internet was down. Once or twice it was a Sony issue.
The problem with Auto log in is you forget the password after a while.
I got a new Kindle Fire yesterday to replace my 2014 model which no longer receives updates. There were a few sites I needed to log in to including here where I really wasn't sure of the password.
Unfortunately for all of you I got it within 2 or 3 attempts.

I had a fantastic idea for games. a couple of weeks ago. If you walk your character up to a mirror in a game and say Candyman 3 times he should appear through the mirror and kill your character. Not just horror games, but any game. Or better it should be hardwired in to the console so if you do that it does a factory reset on the console and destroys all your game progress in every game. It's probably what Crankcaller's 'friend' did. If I worked as a console/ game designer I'd definitely program that in to everything I did. A very rare occasionally found feature that fucks up everything. I think Nier Automata deleted your game progress for you in one option, though I never got that far through it. More games should do this. I'm not scared by Rolling's numerology though.
