PMs stepdad died yesterday. He has brothers and sisters but they are all in their 80s and can’t be arsed to make any of his arrangements so it looks to have fallen to us. Their suggestion when discussing a wake was to meet up for a nice cup of tea, if someone else organised it.

Last night I watched Prisoners after somebody on Twitter posted a list of the last 6 or 7 Denis Villeneuve movies and I realised I hadnt seen it before. I liked it.
Next on the list Incendies. Which I believe is in French so Mammifere Prefere will be pleased.
And then Enemy which I have seen drunk before and cant really remember.

I watched Jamie’s Five Ingredient Meals last night. It was ok but it was a bit like a really long advert for Tesco. It was sponsored by Tesco and the sponsorship had Jamie Oliver’s voice. Then in the programme he was using Tesco ingredients. I began to wonder if his shirt was Tesco. I began to wonder if the fonts used were following Tesco’s corporate identity guidelines.

Some more co-op BG3 last night. Saved some people from a burning building, but then decided to shove them back in, just for a laugh. We then had to fight them, lost, reloaded and this time didn't push them back into the flames

GamesChat! Starfield, natch. Now i know i said i was looking forward to the stealthy undercover piratey stuff, but i'm starting to miss the old shooty-bang-bang now. I think the starborn bits are coming to a head soon so i might regret saying that. Am thinking of siding with no-one so I can get double loot, but a much bigger fight. If you've been there already, you'll know what i'm on about. Apart from the pirate stuff i'm avoiding too many sidequests and sticking to the main missions-ish. Am now level 25.

It was actually quite surreal, there were some sad moments and man tears but for the most part people were smiling and moderately happy. I think this was because he was that type of person and everyone expressed that with memories of him. I knew him after his accident (motorbike) so to hear about his exploits beforehand was interesting, hearing how he had skydived, scuba dived and bungee jumped was really not out of character for the man I knew, except when his dad said he had been Baptised as he was a Buddhist when I knew him. I'm still dealing with him being gone though, I think a couple of jugs of coffee and some happy though about things we talked about and 'maybe' a cup of tea as he was a avid tea drinker might help. K |

I think my Monster Hunter madness has ended. The fever has broken.
I went to bed early last night. I wish I hadn’t. I didn’t really sleep. The artificial monsters were replaced by workplace monsters. Chimeras, phantoms.
I’m currently in a toilet booth. The person in the booth / room next door keeps breaking into song. I think it’s ‘He wasn’t man enough’ by Toni Braxton. Hard to be sure.

I just think singing a song about sex in a shared toilet is highly suspicious behaviour.
Surely if you go to the loo and there is someone else there you pretend the other person doesn't exist. Radio silence until they leave.
