Greetings. Bit more HZD last night and an episode of The Morning Show.
Running late due to the double whammy of a brain fart making me forget I had to leave the house by 07.15 and the train I actually got leaving late.
It's my Fri so I can't complain. But oh I will. Lots on.

Morning.
Wayne Rooney really delivering for Birmingham at the moment, they were definitely right to sack the other guy.
Drizzle and foggy out.

Morning all!
I’m doing a camera club chat tonight on astrophotography, and have left it right to the last minute to put the presentation together for it. Classic amipal. I got 2000 words written for it last night, so at least I can waffle for a bit.
How are we all?

I expect Shenguin is sleeping off his hangover this morning. He was quite loquacious when playing Fortnite. Absolutely terrible at the game. We got two second places. Neither of which had anything to do with him. He wasn't even acting as a meatshield. I would describe him as approaching stocious. Possibly from the wrong direction.

Would you rather …
Go back to 500 A.D. / C.E. with a full bounty of everything you can muster from the 21st century, or go to 3500 A.D. / C.E. with the same? …
A conjuror of marvels in a world of throwbacks, or a throwback yourself in a world of marvels?

I would go to the future I think. Much as I would like to march around in chainmail and a cloak. It might be claustrophobic, to think of the weight of the years not yet passed but still to come. I’m assuming you would be part of the same space-time nexus so would not be able to change anything, up to your original 21st century point of departure ….

MORNIN' ROBOT FARMERS!

Yes, moving forward stays linear, moving back changes now.

You'd need a small self contained estate with solar panels in 500 AD. And a lifetime supply of antibiotics (hopefully more than 1 pill - sorry boss you're not expected to live very long there) Also a lathe and a forge and the schematics to make stuff. You'd probably kill a lot of people by giving them covid and other diseases. It's possible Lazybones is patient zero for sixth century plague outbreaks. Infects everyone, takes some penicillin for himself.

Yes, moving forward stays linear, moving back changes now. I think whatever you did in the past would leave the present unchanged. Because if it wasn’t unchanged you wouldn’t be there in the present to go back into the past.

I've been watching Bosch Legacy. The guy gets results but he's a total maverick as far as procedure goes. Honestly, the HR lads down at LAPD HQ have got their hands full with that one.
