Funnily enough I need to dish out some vengeance today to my pal of nearly 30 yrs who is acting like a cunt. This shall be verbal rather than physical.
Went to bed raging and had a terrible sleep.
TV. No Games. HZD.

Killed it. Off to a library to install pc's. It's near a McDonalds and I have a "free" burger in the app. And will probably spend another fiver on assorted sides and drinks.

Hi
Last night I continued my rewatch of The Last of Us and watched episodes 2 & 3. Episode 3 is the one with Bill and Frank. I think I might become a Prepper. Should be OK with food and supplies but might need to think outside the box on guns and ammo due to Broken Britains nanny state gun laws.
OTTM, no

Today I had to phone IT support to ask them how to turn a computer on. Not computers in general, a particular computer, but still. Checking skyscanner for Zurich flights now.

We have a pc in the office that has an on/off switch that doesn't look like an on/off switch. It has led to confusion in the past.
I changed the toner in our scanner/photocopier yesterday. It has two bits that open at the front and one at the back. This then opens further inside with two sets of clips you can undo. This gives access to remove jammed paper, but not to the toner cartridge. The instructions on the toner itself are clear. Open the front and change the toner. When you open the front there is a feed for envelopes etc. There is no access to the toner. I had to Google it in the end. The first video was useless as it started with the front wide open. The second video showed the secret press you have to do to open the secret third door at the front. Once I did that it was a ten second job to remove the toner and put the new one in. Job done. Except the copier was dead. I'd accidentally dislodged the power lead. Once this was plugged back in everything works.

I had the electrician round to fix two light switches. Cloudy and occasional rain out. What was his take on the game last night? For me, they made it difficult to play against, but failed to keep it tight enough against strong opposition, ultimately though it's VAR that makes the headlines again.

The power button on the side of my laptop sometimes slips out of place, and I have to remove the bottom of the laptop and use tweezers to get it back in position. After some practicing, I can now do the whole operation with a Swiss Army Knife in less that 3 minutes.

I don't suppose Faceless enjoyed it that much. But a proper derby. 5 goals. 2 red cards, a penalty and 5 or 6 disallowed goals (I lost count) The officials, including VAR were pretty good. They were slow awarding the penalty and red card, but there was a lot to check. I enjoyed that Jackson scored a hat trick while managing to look like he'd never score. Spurs playing offside on the halfway line with only 9 was fantastic. It was always going to end in disaster.

The problem was they lost wickets early, that puts pressure on the middle order.

Tbf I always take it as an absolute certainty that we lose to Chelsea, so the result didn't really bother me too much. Three out of the back four now either suspended or injured should make things intetesting

Plus it's nice to have something to feel indignant about. Romero played the ball, it's all a conspiracy etc

I wish Gary Neville would fuck the fuck off, keep fucking off until he can't fuck off any more, then fuck off again. The cunt. I like G Nev. He's great value whenever Man utd lose which is refreshingly often. Anfield 17 December 2023 If it's anything like last season ( 7 (SEVEN)- 0 (NIL)) he will be brilliant. The passion, the quavering voice. Souness properly taking the piss afterwards.
