I think you can set to do not disturb, by swiping from the top and pressing the correct button. I don't know which button, possibly a moon.

Set up the phone as a mobile 'hotspot', link to it with a cheap burner phone, chuck the iphone in a canal, then enjoy the data undisturbed.

I played the old Fortnite map last night, it's still a solid map and there is certainly much more of a need to build as you are often caught out in the open. The guns were rubbish though, the original assault rifle and it's heavy variant take some getting used to again. I base all this on the one game I played last night. We came second. |

I played a duos game.
We were slightly separate and the way the storm came in meant I ended up fighting the last pair.
I shot the second last enemy and winged the last one, but got shot by him.
This left Shenguin in a really good position to rush in and finish things.
Instead he stayed back, shot around the guy and somehow died in the storm.
We came second.
I know it is easier when you are watching, having died, but it felt like an open goal for a win. The guy was badly hurt and not that good.
Shooting around him from a distance rather than at him seemed sub-optimal.
Running in to a building as the storm came in and getting caught by the storm were just icing on the shitcake.

It doesn't matter how good or bad the weapons are or how much cover there is. If your partner is determined not to win there is not much to be done about it.
In our previous win I managed to neutralise Shenguin by killing everyone at the end. I managed to get them separately, a competent pair is very difficult to beat on your own at the end.

I got a Dutch sim card so I could walk about, use ‘Google translate’ and mobile data, without having to receive calls or messages from people I didn’t necessarily want to be in contact with while on holiday.
Then Apple sent me a message that should have gone to my old number because I haven’t changed a setting. I responded and inadvertently gave away my new number.
What a bungler.

I believe do not disturb will stop calls. It will allow txts, you just won't get notifications.
I think what you want to turn on is "Focus" which stops it happening.

Put the phone on silent and non-vibrate and turn off message notifications. It won't stop calls or messages, but you won't get disturbed by them. Also tell your sister/ pm (by text) that you are having some personal time at a festival and won't be in touch over the weekend. You will resume not talking to them once the festival is over. Problem sorted. |
