Last night me and Mamifere preferre went to a French Restaurant. I had snails for starters and then a Fondue. Prob wont bother trying snails again, they were fine, but the dish seemed to be 50% garlic, butter and parsley and 50% snail. So it wasnt really that remarkable just chewy garlic flavoured things. The Fondue was brilliant, cheese and bread with meat on the side, perfect. I had fondue on Saturday, one of those packet mixtures from Waitrose. It was OK, it's better to buy the cheeses yourself, but the Emmenthal and Gruyère would be around £20 now for a decent meal. I have one of those in the fridge. I'm looking forward to it with gherkins and bread and no children. The no children bit is proving difficult to organise. |

I bought a cheap telly this weekend so I can play the PlayStation in another room while the telly is being watched, and obvs to minimise family interaction even further. It is a JVC. It actually looks pretty good, but the sound is like a broken Sony Walkman.

If you use the official Sony headphones they are really pretty good for sound.
You can put all the sound through them.
I have a pair but I rarely use them. They are overkill for Fortnite chat.
I do not really like headphones. They always feel heavy and uncomfortable, but they would resolve your problem.

I plug headphones in as the standard speakers are crap-o-la.

Also they do not work with PSVR2 which seems odd. The PSVR2 has it's own in ear mics which I prefer.
Though it also has the big fuck off helmet sitting on your face.

I recently went back to using TV speakers for one evening, while a key bit of kit was being used elsewhere. It was noticeably crap.

Filmblog The NorthmanNot as good as I hoped. There was les plot and more men grunting at each other than I expected. Bit too much weird Norse mysticism. It was a decent film. Beautifully shot, but falls short in the plot department. Four Stars recommended I also watched Omen III on Sunday. It's still a very disappointing film. The Omen is great. Omen II is decent, but it is like they didn't know where to go with Omen III. It doesn't capture the grandeur it needs. There's a few small acts, but Sam Neill is nowhere near Elon Musk levels of depravity. Four stars recommended I liked Willem Dafoe as a jester. |
