He was in Hospital for other issues and he caught a lung infection when he was in there.
A week later...brown bread. Suffocated. Poor sod.

*Whispers* well actually, the DvD player slash amp has composite & LR RCA via a scart adaptor. But I'm hoping to only use that for optical in. *Sigh* why don't I have thousands to spend on AV gear

I'm still using surround speakers from 2005 that cost about £200 in total, including the sub. Are they the best? Absolutely not, but they do a pretty good job. In terms of picture quality DVD is pretty good on a 42" screen. It's pretty good on a 65" screen. Full HD and 4K are better, yes, but not massively so. |

Further to Sheep2's "Tims" chat. Ra ra ra, we're going to smash the oiks. Twas the same at Birmingham Uni, early to mid 90s. Poshos wores Timberlands and obligatory Ralf Lauren (or YSL) navy blue Polo shirt with upturned collar (ooh aah cantona style) or a Rugger shirt. Their Tims were the traditional light brown/tan, I've been looking at a black pair. Not cheap though.
Cool story. Compelling AND rich.
