What more does Keef want? The moon on a stick?

Keef seems to get very upset about the concept of open world games these days He's not on staff at the G, so isn't paid to play. Makes a100 hour+ game less attractive.

5-6 hours a day gaminb, 1-2 hours a day writing about it is a strong model. I'd be angry about losing such a sweet gig.

The classic 'my personal circumstances have changed, so why haven't games changed accordingly?'argument

He couldn't even open a new 'box every day.
Destry has shown him up to be a fraud.
(breaks down in tears)
I'm sorry Keef, I didn't mean it.

Recently read sci fi that I recommend:
Hyperion, and the Fall of Hyperion Earth Abides (haven't finished it yet but so far so good) Anything by Iain M Banks Anything by John Wyndham, particularly the Chrysalids
Recently read sci fi that I'm on the fence with: The Fifth Head of Cerberus by Gene Wolfe Ringworld by Larry Niven The Stars my Destination by Afred Bester
Recently read sci fi that I wouldn't recommend: Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. First one was ok, the rest of the series not so much A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. First one was ok, the rest of the series not so much I am not angry, just disappointed. And also incandescent with rage.

Recent Sci-fi I've read that I've enjoyed are books by Ann Leckie, best start with the "Ancillary" trilogy.

I enjoyed Ringworld, but it took far too long to get going, and I think I hoped for more from the ending. The main dude was also a bit sex-pesty

Also:
"The second chapter refers to standard Earth gravity as 9.98 m/s2 (or even gives the unit as m/s [sic]), while standard Earth gravity is 9.81 m/s"
Massive immersion breaker.
