Pishing it down.
WFH so all good.
All the games last night. Gran Turismo online. Need to shave 3 secs off my time to get 250k for a time trial. I *shall* do it.
I also installed the new Fortnite update. The rocket car racing is straight out of GTA stunt races (amongst other things - mario kart, micro machines etc let's be honest) and had a couple of thirds and then a 1st. I then tried the Fortnite® Lego® Minecraft® thing. Sheep2 was also playing Fortnite. Though he was probably cowering in a bush or shotty'n someone in the back.
Having read the top 50 TV shows 2023 thing in the G, We watched the Boat Story first episode. Didn't realise iPlayer was streaming in UHD. Much excitement.

appointment with a hole in the ground at the cemetery later. Then again, could say that about a lot of folk.

Fortnite
I may have been AFK.
I think I played 3 games. None of them went very well. Shenguin had to rescue me or die trying in all 3. In fairness I think he did reboot me twice.
iPlayer
I find it a bit annoying that you can't select the quality of the stream. Or at least not easily. They have been doing some 4K stuff for a while. It's generally pretty good.
Not quite as good as a 4K disc. The sound is better via disc and sometimes the images are a bit sharper.
Not much in it.
It's slightly easier to select the stream quality on Amazon. This is occasionally important for football when the 4K stream hasn't been quite keeping up.
I have found that Amazon via the PS5 is significantly better for football than Amazon via the 4K player. Not sure why. They are both Sony, both on the same network and both up to date. They should function identically.

I'm going to try and get the child into the Lego Fortnite game. She likes Lego, she likes Minecraft. I will be selling it to her as Fortnite
She likes the allure of Fortnite - though not allowed to play it yet.
She could play it cross platform with her pals who are playing shite Roblox games.
She will give it/me five mins and then go back to Roblox 😭😭😭😭

Small child was an easy setup for shift work, sleep pattern, eating times and drinking cold coffee all second nature.

Congratulations Sandie! Much better having kids then. Can't imagine doing the night time feeds and getting up at stupid o'clock when it's dark and miserable out. Yeah I know, doing it all with zero daylight would be a huge downer. Trying to go out for a walk in the sleety wet rain to escape the house, urgh.
My other two were both summer ones. I must have peak Rizz in August/September
