While at work he’d found a bucket of fetid rainwater, with a decomposed rat floating in it. In the spirit of tidying the place up he carried it outside, where due to his laces being undone, managed to go arse over tit, while flinging green rat soup over himself and then landing in the broth. He didn’t seem too concerned that some had gone in his mouth, but he was worried that the nasty gash on his knee he’d submerged in the stuff was going to get infected. We suggested a trip to A+E might be warranted. After about a 4 hour wait he called to say there was no risk and they’d sent him home without even a precautionary AB shot. I feel we may not have heard the last of this saga. You want Skaven? Cos this is how you get Skaven. |

Morning,
My boy was off school yesterday (dry non productive cough, terrible in the morning then steadily better through the day).
So we had an awesome day at home on the sofa. Nice breaky and some herbal teas, then we binged the entire new series 3 of 'Hilda' on Netflix ( very good, better than season 2 imho ).
Then we played who can spell the longest word, I won with incomprehensible.
Then we read books for an hour and then we had pizza and chips for dinner.
Was the best, cant wait until he gets sick again.

Epic are doing their free game a day schtick until the 31st master race fans.
Arranging with my sister when to swap presents. We're all going for lunch on Sun in Glasgow but decided not to swap them then. I was going for Thursday but Mon it is, which means I need to wrap them this weekend. Balls.
Tesco Xmas sandwich for lunch and some Tesco beef & horseradish crisps.

I've just got back from work Christmas lunch. We did a 'fun' activity where we all had to answer a series of Christmas related questions. One of the questions was "what controversial Christmas opinion do you have?" Mine wasn't controversial at all, but I said that obviously Die Hard was an Xmas film. A couple of people disagreed. I may have defended it a bit too vigorously.
The highlight of the day though, was someone else's controversial opinion " all religion is a load of bollocks, and anyone who believes it is a cunt"
It didn't go down too well
