MORNING!
I went to Morrisons to hunter gather a weekly shop for the troops. I bought something I don't think I've bought for nearly 30 years. A big tub of Smash! It was as if it called out to me as I trudged down the aisle.
"Tuffers... Tuffers... Buy me and eat me... I'm made with REAL POTATOES.. it says it on the tub"
I will provide a review at some point in the future so stay tuned.

Is this a sports ball thing? Yes. EDIT: Expect more in the same vein on Tuesday night. I'm sure you will be fine. The sponsors would be equally as happy with a Boro vs Fulham final rather than a Liverpool vs Chelsea final, so they'll be no contentious decisions. |

It waa ok. We looked less bad than at dirty Leeds. Tho that wasn't the toughest quest ever.
We should have won. A mildly disappointing late equaliser.
Onwards and sideways. We can look at the 4th round draw without being committed to it. If we get a bad draw we can go out in the third round replay.

The Humber bridge isbroken. I drove north across it on the southbound carriageway.
Not as broken as the M62 near Goolies though. 30mph speed restrictions are rubbish on motorways.

I also laid out and looked at the rules for a board game - Northgard (the board game of the video game). I played a few turns (against myself), then put it away in an orderly manner.
I think the game will be good.
I have to find some new shoes. Going out today to look for some. The shoes are what connect you to the earth. Possiby the most important item of clothing you can have.

I’m reading a book called ‘What makes the Dutch different’. It’s not bad. It’s by a man who moved to Rotterdam. In each chapter he goes to a different part of the Netherlands, comments on a cultural phenomenon and uses that to springboard into an area of Dutch history.
After this I’ve agreed to read Requiem for a Dream. A friend of mine is reading it too. We were going to read it at the same time and compare notes. Well … not notes … Maybe just occasional …
