Morning all! Read about lazybones’ move over to the National Front. Didn’t see that coming at all. As such, I’ve had the Rolling Stones’ “Street Fighting Man” in my head. Scienceblog - found out about “sausage catastrophe”, the theory that spheres are best stacked in a line like a sausage until you get to around 56 spheres - and then a pyramidal stacking scheme is more efficient. I woke up about 3am and pretty much stayed awake. In the end I picked up a the book I’m reading. I read about Pim Fortuyn and Geert Wilders. I’m now reading about the Dutch tradition of tolerance. Pretty interesting.

Marmalade day today. Cutting, slicing, and dicing of oranges. Boiling and stirring . Sterilising and bottling. Find it quite therapeutic and relaxing.

Not very warm looking is it! and that green I mean honestly, I bet it's not even waterproof.
(Nice liner though and tidy writing and badge, not that I would say it out loud, we don't want people thinking I care in any way).
