Morning. The fence between next door and ours is swaying about a bit in the wind. If it was up the back it wouldn't be so bad but it's next to where the car sits in the drive.
I'm on a half day as I'm waiting on a telecoms guy coming.
Next door is a bit "handy" - I mean he fixes stuff, he won't touch me up. So I dunno if he'll want to fix it - and require my help. Or if we get joiner. I'm more up for a joiner despite the cost, it means I don't have to help/speak to next door.

Morning
Yesterday I made the beef stew by which all other beef stews will be measured. Usual ingredients, but I made a couple of tweaks. As well as an onion, I also added about 15 shallots (left whole) and a fair amount of fresh thyme leaves. But I think it might have been the wine. I added about half a bottle of a Portuguese wine called, funnily enough, Porta 6. Served with buttery mash. Boodiful. And some left over too.
Then for the millionth time, I too watched Independence Day. Welcome to Earth! 👽🤛
Then some more Sopranos Series 2. Tony and the gang are back from Italy and one of the Eyetalians is now working for T.
